Dr. Hoa Phong Le

He is the visionary and founder of Quatuor MD. With his innovative mindset and desire to do things differently, he has surrounded himself with top medical experts and collaborators who share his passion for innovation and high-quality care.

He first earned a bachelor’s degree in law from the Université de Montréal and has been a member of the Québec Bar since 2008. He began his career practicing business law at the firm Ogilvy Renault (now Norton Rose Fulbright). In 2009, he decided to trade in his tie for a stethoscope and began his Doctorate of Medicine at the Université de Montréal, which he completed in 2015.

In January 2018, Dr. Lê joined the Medisys group, where he contributed to two of the group’s largest clinics. His leadership was quickly recognized, and within his first year he was appointed Medical Director of the Occupational Health Clinic. There, he developed expertise in the health of maritime and railway workers, as well as those in industry, defense and security, civil aviation, and ground transportation. That same year, he became a Transport Canada-certified physician for maritime workers, and in 2019, he was designated as a panel physician for Immigration Canada.

During this time, he also served as Senior Medical Advisor for Genesee & Wyoming Railways in Canada. In April 2020, the Bank of Canada appointed him as its first occupational health and safety medical advisor to address the national challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout 2020 and until December 2021, he also sat as a member of the TELUS Health National Medical Directors Committee.

His medical philosophy is centered on patient well-being, with an approach focused on metabolic prevention and early disease detection. His previous career as a business lawyer also gives him a strong understanding of the importance of being efficient and maintaining both physical and mental health to optimize well-being and performance.
