Dr. Mohamed Awad

Family physician

Dr. Mohamed Awad is a general practitioner at Quatuor MD. He cares for young adults, seniors, and children in urgent pediatric care with a wide-angle approach that sees each patient as a whole person: body, mind, and context. His goal is simple and ambitious: to help patients bring lasting harmony back into their lives through thoughtful, well-coordinated care.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Sherbrooke in 2016 and completed his family medicine residency at the University of Montreal in 2019. Since then, he has practiced in the private sector, where he brings both clinical precision and relational depth to his work. He also holds advanced training in colposcopy, which he has performed for over five years.

Dr. Awad’s approach is both intuitive and structured. He looks for dysfunction across the full spectrum of a patient’s health: physical, emotional, and psychological and helps them make sense of it through a plan that is clear, personalized, and sustainable. He often describes his role as that of a quarterback, someone who listens, leads, and connects all the moving parts of care.

His main clinical interests include internal medicine, gynecology, and mental health. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he developed a deeper focus on mental health and multidisciplinary care.

He is currently developing a more integrated and forward-thinking model of the annual health exam, one that goes beyond checklists to reflect the full complexity of modern family medicine. He consults in French, English, and Arabic.
