A member of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ) and the American Psychological Association (APA), she is a graduate of McGill University, where she completed training in educational psychology and counseling psychology. Since 1987, she has gained experience in counseling and teaching across a variety of settings. She specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
Her areas of expertise include: anxiety disorders and depression, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), adjustment disorders, anger management, attention-deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity (ADHD), behavioral disorders, behavior management, mood disorders, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), relationship issues, sleep difficulties, self-esteem, substance use, and work-related problems, including reintegration/gradual return to work.
She has worked with individuals with special needs such as autism, Down syndrome, fetal alcohol syndrome, and intellectual/learning disabilities. Having worked with people of all ages facing a wide range of challenges, she has designed and implemented both individual and group programs focused on behavior and anger management, daily living skills, educational modifications, and vocational training in supported competitive work environments. She also offers support to families and provides consultations to organizations when needed.
She has delivered workshops for both professionals and the general public.
